A Lady's tale of Autumntime!

As I wander neath the winds

I wonder what's in store

For mankind's future

And my own

The winds of change bring more

Energy for you and me

Light and love besides

They tell of future bright and true

For good they blow I'm sure!

The autumn leaves tumble and fall

Like they know where to go

They peel back layers of stress and suffering

Giving back to Earth it all

As we watch the autumn leaves

Imagine the tree is you

Let the leaves fall to the ground

And lighter you will feel

Bringing a new zeal!

We make head-dress of autumn leaves

To dance a merry dance

From summer through to winter

The leaves crowning all

The autumn light looks magical

As it twinkles through the forest

Lighting up all dark corners of our lives

Our homes, our minds and all

The leaves a beautiful pattern make

As they blow from hither to thither

Making compost for the Earth

All goodness is returned!

As We lay head in hand

We release every woe

Feeling better from head to toe

Geranium the balancing oil

With bathe We gather strength

It heals the ups and downs of life

And helps Us face tomorrow

Today is fine with this flower

Tomorrow brighter still

Yesterday is in the past

The future yours to fill!

The power of the Autumntime

Lady Autumn stands strong

Mask keeps her Lady's heart

In mind and will

With mists ever still

The power of the autumntime

Is in Our hearts and minds

With gentleness We do find

A brighter day!

A world so gay!

Where the kids do play!

The Set of Swords symbolise AIR. They are "sharp and to the point" and help us to understand the realm of the MIND.

We all know that mindful living is just and right for our souls. These cards help us to understand this realm and become greater human beings where mindfulness takes precendence.

What do we call the MIND?

Well the whole mindful thing of Life is being aware of yourself and others and paying greater respect to the feelings of others and their own unique ways. 

Life is a rainbow and it is only by truly appreciating this that we can fully respect others and how they personally wish to live.

In this set of cards we see the Sword representing the power of the MIND.
As we know this all begins with the ACE of swords, the beginning of a new world, the start of something special and the point of reasoning. The Eureka moment!
When Ace is turned we give thanks for all we have known so far in our lives and begin to look to the future of a new start with new energies being ushered in.
It is a card that has purpose and helps us achieve our endeavours.
With Ace upturned your life will take a turn for the better, it shows you have been meditating on change and this card shows the change will come to be!

The TWO of Swords shows a dilemma, between two paths of life. Do I choose this way or that? By thinking carefully about the two avenues open to you and seeing which bears more fruit you can find the way forward.
If you have chosen one path ahead this card represents the moving forward on that path and the coming to fruitition of plans laid down in stone. With the purpose the ACE hath shown the TWO allows us to see further ahead and let's us take that first needed step towards a bright future.

The THREE of Swords is alike the rule of thrice, it is the reflection of a path begun and will show along with the other cards drawn, exactly what is being understood about your new venture. It allows us to see in a spread, how wisely we have followed our instincts and whether their needs to be some pruning of our tree of life or whether the path ahead is clear.

The FOUR of Swords is a medicine card for our soul. It means all directions are strong and the way ahead is open and worth a venture forth. The medicine of this card means you are protected in all realms and should take heed of this. It is wise to see all around you at any point on a journey and this card says this vision is strong and true. Mindfully it shows you are aware of exactly what is needed and are ready to make a new or further move.

The FIVE of Swords is alike the pentagram in the set. It means your world is protected and along with other cards will show you of true promise on a path. Five is a good and lucky number always and will signal good times ahead.

As a balance is reached in life so life tends to fall into place!

The SIX of Swords is a message from the heavens above especially the Lord. It helps us to take stock of all that has been and is at present to enable us to look ahead to the future.

How did I become a Green Wytch?

Many a moon ago, when I were a mere lassie, I caught sight of a beautiful book called "The Green Witch". This wonderful volume of little magical secrets was a wonder to me and remains so to this day. It caught me heart nicely and I gelled with the teachings!

To me a green wytch is a Nature wytch! One who is close to the Great Mother and empowers Her magic from this perspective. There are as many kinds of Green wytch as there are paths in magic. I myself am leaning towards the Hedge wytch aspect of things. The Hedgerow is a powerful place!!!!

Nature and Her glory is in every way what is magical about the world! Faeries preside here and Faery Wicca is another important aspect of my own personal magic! I am sure you are all aware of faeries and how wonderful they are! Faeries bring the light of the forest and the hedgerow into the glory of mankind's world! The faeries share their secrets with you if you are willing to give them the time of day, or night!!

How to be greeen? Well that is something topical!! Green living and eco-lifestyles make very Green Wytch a breath of fresh air! In other words living as close to the Great Mother as your life will allow! With wisdom in the making we find ourselves absorbed in Nature and allow the natural vibe of the Great Mother to fill Our chalice. She being the ever-giving, ever-loving, good-natured Being the Great Mother has and always will BE!
